Stevie G

Stevie is a local up and coming Trance DJ who has a great ability to
diversify his style to suite any crowd. His DJ Career took off since moving to Sheffield in 2001 as he soon developed a strong style and reputation which soon generated interest from clubs such as Gatecrasher, Goodgreef and Passion to name but a few. In 2002 Stevie was finalist of the infamous Blessed DJ competition held at the Republic which lead to him show casing his skills to approximately 50,000 listeners on Galaxy FM with Gatecrashers very own Riley & Durrant. He has since had 3 further guest appearances on their “Nu-Breed” show and will hopefully back on Galaxy in the near future. 2002 saw the chance to be resident at Gatecrashers “Young Guns” event which progressed to him making his main room debut for Goodgreef in 2003 playing at all of their UK venues. This time also saw the opportunity to make his debut at Passions “Red Room Sessions” as well as finishing third place in the Radio 1 National vote to play at Creamfields.
2004 has proved to be a very important and exciting period with Stevie making his main room debut at Gatecrashers May Bank Holiday Ball as well as Passion at the Emporium in July. Such events have allowed him the chance toplay alongside and warm up for Artists such as DJ Tiesto, Ferry Corsten, Scott Bond, Matt Hardwick, Above & Beyond, Judge Jules, JFK, John “00” Flemming, Eddie Halliwell and John Kelly at various venues over the country. If the last two years are anything to go by then 2005 will hopefully prove to be a sign of things to come. Whilst currently studying music production at 21 and having pure passion and determination for music he is definitely an up and coming DJ to watch out for.
