Les HemstockLes Hemstock forms one vital half of the production duo Hemstock and Jennings and has firmly established himself as an integral part of the worlds trance scene with his tracks and DJ sets rocking the best International dance floors. His studio partnership with Chris Jennings has proven to be a major success with their productions and remixes regularly reaching anthem status and topping some of the worlds most influential dance charts. Hemstock & Jennings have performed remix duties for some of the biggest names in the business and have also recorded under various guises such as Sagitaire, Merge, Fusion, Demetrius and Magenta.
Les eventually had to give up promoting to concentrate on his true love – studio production - which soon promoted him to the heady heights of performing at the UK’s best dance clubs. Les’s early productions include ‘Gold N Delicious’ The Chorus which featured on the hit Brit movie “Maybe Baby” featuring Rowan Atkinson and the massive club hit “Mirage” which found its way onto many TV shows and advertising soundtracks including ‘Turner Classic Movies’ and ‘Sky Sports’ – The huge UK TV show ‘I’m a Celebrity..’ and the US smash series “Orange County” Les records his productions from the ‘Genetic studio’ he shares with production partner Chris Jennings in their UK hometown of Stoke on Trent – he also owns and runs the Phaze record label which has rapidly become a familiar name on the lips of any respectable trance lover and is renowned for its pure quality releases. It has been a long journey for Les from his first tentative steps into the world of DMC dance music to his roaring success over the last few years that has gained him the respect and admiration that he so well deserves. Now Les proudly occupies the position as one of the worlds top DJ/producers gracing the decks at the finest nights in the world delivering his distinctive euphoric sound to an ever growing fan base of clubbers. Les has been honoured to broadcast Live from the BBC Radio 1 Soundstage in Ibiza and has headlined at every major UK club night from Gatecrasher to Promise, Garlands, Escape, Goodgreef and Slinky etc. He is also a popular performer at festivals such as Wakestocks Gatecrasher arena in Wales and Planet Love in Ireland for the last three years events. Les has also found himself as guest DJ at the infamous Dance Valley and Impulz Festivals in Holland. His recent collaboration with Paul Van Dyk on the song “Nothing But You” which Les written and produced has taken his career to new heights hitting Number 1 in the UK dance charts and also appearing on Paul’s brand new album. There are another 3 forthcoming releases including Les’s production pseudo “Magenta” – ‘Twisted Spirit’ already supported by Paul van Dyk and “Demetrius” – ‘Love Thing’ finding heavy support from John 00 Fleming. The latest tune from Les is called “Reverence” and has recently been signed to Mondo records. The tune is currently receiving substantial support from Armin Van Buuren, Johan Gielen, Tiesto and Ferry Corsten as well as UK Dj Judge Jules who made it ‘tried and tested’ tune on his BBC Radio 1 Show - Many other highly respected DJs around the world are now following suit as another Hemstock & Jennings production heads for the top of the worlds club charts! Production wasn’t the beginning of Les’s music career – he was a DJ from just 18 years old and eventually developed his talents to that of studio production, but during that time he also presented a weekly Radio show in his then home town of Sandefjord in Norway and eventually presented various UK shows including Galaxy radio and guest starred on BBC Radio 1 As if this wasn’t enough for Les he began promoting his own dance night in the UK Midlands - his night was called ‘Gold N Delicious’ and was the UK’s only successful Monday club night sometimes capable of packing in over 2000 clubbers!
