Succeeding his auro-sonic gig at Crasher’s birthday After-shock, Marco V is set for his debut in Nottingham. His distinctive blend of tech, house and trance with huge helpings of filth has become a favourite sound for the Gatecrasher crowd over the years. Dropping deep, snarling techno served on a dirty bed of bass, Marco V never fails to generate raw energy on the dance-floor. His Combi:Nations lll mix album released this year has received huge praise, owing to Marco’s renowned ear for a good tune and his deft mixing ability. Always the innovator, he is constantly on the pulse and one of the main pioneers of the tech-trance sound. Having not played here before, Marco V will no doubt pull out all the stops and rip Notts to pieces. Also headlining after his amazing closing set at Magna, John OO Fleming is on hand with his diverse selection of psy tuneage. With a career spanning over 20 years, JOOF is one of the scenes true legends. Steering away from the more commercial sound that has engulfed the trance scene, his style is a mixture of hard-edged prog through to steaming psy trance. With a strong reputation as head of JOOF recordings, he continues to promote new artists and support the scene. Having torn Crasher up on countless occasions, Notts will be no different, JOOF is going to devastate the place!
