After six years of award winning club nights on the world famous party isle of Ibiza, Judgement Sundays lands in Sheffield. A new territory for the Balearic outfit, the dj, producer and promoter behind the night, Judge Jules is no stranger to the Gatecrasher surroundings. Having been a revered Crasher resident in previous years, Jules is set to bring his own style to the night under the JS banner. Making her Crasher debut, Lisa Lashes is a name known throughout the world for her love of a harder edged sound. It’s a taste that has developed over the years and she has been resident of Judgement Sundays for the past two seasons on the white isle. Her recent sets have taken a new direction with techno, trance and breaks on the agenda. According to Lashes, “Whatever style of house it is, I play it hard and dirty; it’s my favourite way!” We look forward to the Queen of Hard Dance blessing GC1 with her own breed of bosh. Another dj to have made regular appearances at Jules’ shindig is Mr Matt Hardwick, Gatecrashers’s long term resident and guaranteed party instigator. He is now one of the most sought after dj’s in the country and making a real name for himself on the global circuit too. With peak slots at some of the world’s leading clubs, Hardwick’s dedication, ability to read a crowd and captivate his audience, he has become one of the most in demand dj’s in the UK. No crowd or club knows him better than Crasher and he is always a welcome sight in the GC1 booth. After ripping it up in Feb, Randy Katana, is due back for another tech trance deliverance. ‘Another Wave’ is the title of his new track, as wait with anticipation to get drenched by another Katana tide. His ability to enforce chronic dancing was confirmed at the last Crasher gig. A tribal mash of tech inspired rompers, his music is made for the dancefloor and he is certain to bring the house down with another blinding set.
The arrival of John Askew has been a long time coming for many. Head of discover records and successful dj and producer, Askew has made a huge impact on the scene. With his signature kick drum, PVD endorsed productions and unquestioned dj ability, we cannot wait for his first Crasher performance.
